It was sad, even I was sad and I don't usually give a rats ear about celebrity relationships. It would be hard to keep a relationship together in their situation, and without God. However, it seems like just as many Christian couples can't hold together a marriage, thats the saddest part. What an awesome witness that would be if people could look to Christian marriages and see a clear difference beetween them and non-christian marriages. ~Naat
In the general Christain community it is true that there are just as many divorces as in the non-christian community. This is truly sad.
However, committed Christians who marry Christians (who have the same commitment to Christ and to living by the standards of the Scriptures) don't divorce. Husbands learn to love and wives learn to respect their husbands. And everyone lives happily ever after.
Well, its not that easy, because we are selfish by nature. But if we are commited to living for Christ, in all areas of our life, we will continually become better spouses. Divorce does not become an issue.
I own GANT Construction. I am a General Contractor who is currently doing home remodels and repairs. I am hoping to begin building energy efficient homes in 2009.
I am a certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) who would like to be building new Universal Designed (UD) energy efficient rental homes. However, financing has become a problem in our current economic environment, especially to the small business person.
More importantly ... I have an amazing family - a beautiful wife and three awesome boys.
My interests include all things outdoors (cycling, hiking, backpacking, etc.) as well as Bible study, preaching/teaching, history, stock trading, listening to music, photography, native plant landscaping, basketball, architecture, and traveling with my wife.
We also enjoy going for drives and sampling restaurants, especially Mexican restaurants and locally owned diners, cafes, or burger joints.
